Tigers Eye is a gemstone that is part of the quartz family of gems. It has a beautiful bands of golden honey and brown tones and high lustre finish with flashes of light.  It is mainly found in South Africa and parts of Western Australia.  This is one of the more rare gemstones and symbolises harmony and balance as it was originally carried as an amulets against bad luck.
