Aquamarine This gemstone's name means water in Latin due to it's colour of pale sea water. The majority of this stone is found today in Brazil, but also in parts of Africa and the Ural mountains of Russia. It is usually pale blue but can have greenish blue tones. It was first discovered in 1723 in Siberia and has been popular ever since for its beautiful appearance. It is associated with relaxation and purity as well as inspiring trust and was fabled to have been blessed by the sea goddesses to bring luck.

Labradorite Labradorite is a feldspar mineral most commonly found in Madagascar, Scandinavia and Russia. With a beautiful irridescence ranging in colour tones of green and blues it contains flashes of gold and peacock making each stone unique. Named in 1770 after Labrador in Canada this gemstone has a more ancient history as it was used by the Inuits and revered by them due to their belief that the Northern Lights were trapped in the stone. It is thought to be the stone of transformation and helpful to impart strength at times of change.
